Caffe Divano - Coquitlam

The team at Burnaby Divano is fantastic, providing excellent service and coffee. The morning staff is looking forward to the return of the delicious multigrain triple berry muffin. Patrick, please bring it back soon!

The coffee was really fresh, the food was great, and the atmosphere was relaxing - the perfect place to take a break!

The last time I went into Caffe Divano, I ordereda bowl of carrot ginger soup, Went with a friend. Both the soups when brought out to us was not even warm. We had to send it back, they supposedly reheated it, when it came out again it was lukewarm. We just ate it but it was a disappointment. They leave water on a table for you to help yourself but seems it's always empty and you have to ask for it. I used to order the quiche but lately don't because it looks dried out and overbaked. The sandwiches are made with a heavy bread that would be hard for me to eat. Muffins and pastries are very good. It is a pleasant place to have a cup of coffee, pastry or lunch and read the papers which are on a table for people to read. You can choose to eat inside or out.

The coffee there were good according to my three morning visits. They open early while there was virtually no place to eat around there around 8am. Their baked food were good and service was good as well. Anyway, I think it is better big name cafes.

I enjoy meeting up with my mom for coffee here. The coffee is always good, and there is always an assortment of baked goods. Their Latte is especially rich and satisfying.
