Bukchigo Jangguchigo - Coquitlam

This place offers a genuinely authentic experience with its Korean grill and hotpot. During my second visit, I noticed that the preparation and aroma were even better, likely because it wasn’t too crowded, allowing the chef to focus more on the details.

This was our first time visiting this restaurant. We ordered several special dishes. The dumplings were very tasty, although a bit tricky to eat. The Ming beans pancake was good, but I'm not sure it's worth the price. The bench seating provided a unique experience, but it wasn't very comfortable for extended periods.

It's quite busy, but definitely worth the wait. The last time we visited, it took nearly 30 minutes to be seated, so my wife and I left our number and headed to the Korean supermarket to grab a few things. They called us while we were at the checkout and held our table for an additional 10 minutes. Be sure to order something that pairs well with makgeolli; the innards were particularly good!

Super authentic Korean sausage soup. Soondae is always so fresh and never gamey which is a common issue with korean sausages.
