Beanery Coffeehouse Eatery - Coquitlam

We ordered three different sandwiches and all of them were fresh, delicious, and well-made. We tried the butter chicken, pesto chicken, and lamb sandwiches. The only suggestion I have is for them to install another fan because our clothes ended up smelling like food while we were in the restaurant. Highly recommend trying their sandwiches!

We came to try this coffee shop because of the amazing reviews, but we were horribly disappointed at our experience here. Won’t be coming back. We got an iced london fog and their specialty iced coconut cold brew latte. The iced london fog was okay, but the iced coconut cold brew latte was awful. The cold brew was so sour that we weren’t able to drink it after taking two sips. Cold brew should not be this sour if made properly. The service from the employee was great; however, we were disappointed by the manager’s service when we raised our concerns about the iced coconut cold brew latte. She was extremely passive aggressive after I asked if we could replace the drink as it was too sour to drink. She remarked that the $6 specialty coffee was too expensive for her to replace. About 15 minutes later, she came to our table and handed me a shot of cold brew urging me to drink it and explained that’s the way it tastes. I hated the drink the first time, I didn’t want to try it a second time.

I would like to address an issue I have encountered multiple times with the coffee machine and hot water at this restaurant. After receiving an Americano, I found that the water was extremely hot, causing me to burn myself. This is a safety concern and not the proper way to serve coffee. I believe the machine may not be set up correctly, rather than the fault of the barista. I kindly request that the necessary adjustments be made to prevent this from happening again. Amazing coffee! The foam are thick and wonderful! Great latte and cappuccino! Probably the best coffee I ever had in Vancouver! Totally recommend it!

Great local coffee and goodies. The owner was so nice, service superb. Some of the goodies are frozen and have a slight freezer taste, but really enjoyed our visit
