Two Rivers - Copper Center

We found this hotel on short notice while heading back to Anchorage. Being part of the Princess Hotels chain, the staff can occasionally seem a bit overwhelmed, but I must say they are extremely kind, patient, and highly professional. My favorite was Karly at the front desk—she was thorough, patient, and genuinely kind. She even took the time to explain what the off-season is like. Karly is truly a gem, and I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel not just for the wonderful staff but also for the breathtaking views.

Located in a beautiful area, this restaurant has a rather high price point, but unfortunately, the rooms feel outdated and lack basic amenities commonly found in a three-star motel. It wasn't my first choice, as I wasn't in charge of the booking. The prices are quite steep, and even something as simple as a cup of coffee or a basic breakfast isn’t included. On the bright side, the staff was very friendly and attentive. However, the rooms don't come with a mini fridge, which forced me to refreeze my ice packs to keep my medication at the right temperature. There are other nearby accommodations that offer better value and more amenities.

The entire waitstaff is incredible, especially Ty, and the food is simply outstanding!

The food was outstanding, and the restaurant is located in a quiet, secluded area. I had a wonderful experience dining there and thoroughly enjoyed the meal.

They informed us that they were having technical difficulties, which resulted in us waiting nearly 50 minutes for our dinner and an additional 20 minutes for dessert. The food itself was average; despite having a fine dining vibe, it was only mediocre at best. On the other hand, the dessert was outstanding.
