Family dinner with great pizzas (margarita, napoli) and beautiful glass wein. perfect combination of fast, tasty and relaxed at the same time.

If they are looking for a typical puglian Souther-Italian taste, then trattoria al canneto in copertino is the best choice. it is hidden in a corner of the piazza mazzini, but in the summer there are tables outside and they cannot miss it. they can. order a local pizza or pasta from the menu or ask the owner for his recommendation of fresh seafood and fish dishes. we did. dish after court he would bring to our table and with each bite we were more and more amazed. it looked like a tasting menu in an expensive restaurant, but it was a tasting menu trattoria style. Just fantastic. for appetizers, some local roasted pork, vegetables, mozarella and meatballs, rural brot with fenced tomato (local bruschetta),for the following courses some homemade pasta with fruti di mare, a baked fish in lemon jouice and roasted frutti di mare. all this accompanied by delicious vino rose contadino style' (from a local builder.) to finish it, we have a plate with fresh cowards. and a very humble, reasonable bill.
