Contribuiți la feedbackHere for lunch for some Mikkeller and imagination smørrebrød and we were not disappointed at all. The presentation of the open sandwiches was absolutely untouched. Our server was very strict and not very friendly, but he relaxed a bit at the end. Decor is clean and well cured, and while we were some of the only people there on a weekday lunch, it still felt warm. On the expensive side, but again, quality was really great. We'll be back when we're in the area.
Food and experience was simply amazing. Main menu is traditional Danish smørrebrod, but there are other options than the full Christmas menu. Also good selection of beer, wine and liquor. Either you can order yourself, but a good idea is to order several and scissors between the table. Personal favorites were chicken salad and the pig (this is definitely a must). You can also find beetroot’s, roast beef and herring (fish)
I eat in this restaurant every time I come to Copenhagen, but this is the first time I could get a table without booking. I guess the outside seats helped there! I went for the Curry Herring and the Roast Beef, and they were amazing. I skipped the beer this time and went for a Aquavit and Tonic that was incredibly refreshing with rosemary and orange. I am happy to eat again on my next trip!
Amazing experience! The tartar was epic, FRESH! Meat with the crunchy rye bread give him a real turn. Girlfriend had the soup that was soup doll. Wild I had the steak for the main course, it was so good I forgot to make a picture: great service and cozy relaxed atmosphere. Obviously great beer (DUH! Haha, but they introduced us to the wonderful world of moments. I never realized there were so many species. We had infused a spicy herb with the meat and then tried a sweet one that makes the cook in the house. Just like Grandma used to have a Danish grandma.
Fantastic open faced sandwiches. They are owned by Mikkeller and serve their beer as well. We had the 10th anniversary hazy ipa which was full of floral notes and hoppy as can be. The outdoor tables are great and shady starting around 1pm. Highly recommend to get a taste of traditional local cuisine with a flare.
