Empire Bakery - Coos Bay

My first experience at the restaurant was the cranberry and walnut sour bread. Even without any jam or butter, it was incredible. We then made French toast with some of the bread, and it was absolutely heavenly. I'm excited to try the garlic baguette we picked up as well; it smells divine. The prices are reasonable for such high-quality, handcrafted bread.

The sourdough bread here is fantastic! The cranberry walnut loaf strikes a perfect balance between sweetness and texture. However, the Cranberry Cinnamon Ciabatta was absolutely amazing. I’m definitely returning to grab some for the freezer. Plus, I plan to arrive early enough to snag some cinnamon rolls! I believe you can't go wrong with any of their offerings. They also have a great selection of pasta, cheese, and wines available. This place is truly a gem! From now on, it’ll be my go-to spot.

We found our favorite bread at the Peasant Market. Empire offers the best focaccia bread—it's absolutely delicious!

My daughter challenged me after leaving two star ratings in the last few days to give a 5-star rating for a disgusting business that we have done here about a month ago since the move. Empire Bakery wins. So friendly, full of friendly and non-directional answers to EBT. There was this creative foliage when bread on the counter seemed to be a sea turtle on the beach, but it was a huge sun with a greasy face. You were so nice to my kids. Their location is causal and everything is very artistic.

Best sour dough bread in the state. If you love real homemade bread then you will surely love Empire Bakery. Oh, and the girl that helped me find everything I was looking for was so nice. I will be back every week, that's for sure.
