Yiani's Greek - Coolum Beach

My main course was underwheling. I ordered lamb souvlaki. I got one stick with about 7 small cubes of dry tough lamb sitting on a big pile of chips and a few pieces of pita bread. Basically a plate of chips not worth $29.00. Another diner had salmon which was overcooked Others in the group enjoyed their meals so I was fairly disappointed The atmosphere was nice and the host did give the birthday girl a free bottle of Greek wine which was nice. Went for my birthday with two other families, all with young kids. We ordered a bunch of entrees and both share platters -all the food was epic and there were lots of options for the children. Cocktails and wine were outstanding, we were all very impressed. Yianni and all the staff provided incredible service and made sure we had a wonderful time. We went to Yiani's for our wedding anniversary dinner. The atmosphere is fabulous with Greek music and traditional plate smashing. The staff are friendly and attentive and the food is just superb.
