Fresh and Fried - COOLANGATTA

I was searching for lunch on my way back to my apartment and couldn't decide where to go. I stumbled upon this little gem, ordered the fish and potato scallops, and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The service was excellent despite the waitress handling everything herself. The prices were also very reasonable. Overall, a great find!

I enjoy dining at this restaurant, but every time I visit, the owner's behavior is terrible. Almost every other customer encounters rudeness from the owner. A customer politely inquired about her order and the owner raised her voice, claiming she was being shouted at. The owner was unhelpful and disrespectful to her employees. Despite how busy it was, when a staff member asked for assistance, the owner declined. The staff were left to manage everything on their own, from taking orders to serving customers. I used to love eating here, but due to the owner's rudeness, they have lost my business, as well as that of my family and friends.

I have been working in the south for 7 weeks now and have been frequenting the local cafe regularly. Unfortunately, every time I have placed an order, it has been slow without any apologies. Today, I waited 25 minutes for a small portion of chips, only to find that they were cold and just sitting on the counter, with no one serving them to me.

The article is gone. cleanliness was not great. burger not very good and chips rubbery. will not go back. consider other options as this place does not make the class.

Have eaten here WAY too many times it looks like an average suburban fish and chip shop but don't let the looks fool you. These guys can cook up a storm in no time and offer a diverse range of burgers, fish, fried options...like chips and scallops pretty much everything you'd expect from a good quality burger store without the premium price tag.
