Cooktown RSL Memorial Club

Went to Cooktown RSL for a Sunday night easy dinner, staff were friendly and the venue was comfortable with various memorabilia on display. The food was really good & well priced. The Local fish was delicious & the portions were generous. They had a good selection of desserts but we just couldn't fit it in

Great food and friendly service. We ate here three nights running. No complaints at all. Don't go past this place if you're visiting Cooktown.

Went here based on TripAdvisor reviews and available choices. Found the meals to be OK but over priced. Better options in town.

If you are in Cooktown on a Tuesday night make sure to check out the quiz night session. Quiz nights at the RSL are held on alternate Tuesdays and they are really good fun. The money raised goes to the Cooktown High School.The food is also great - I had the grilled salmon last night and it was delicious.Makes coming to Cooktown for work so enjoyable.

Nice, casual dining in the center of Cooktown. Wifi is available and was much better than our hotel. Food was above average. Chicken Parm was large portion and well prepared. Fish was well prepared. Chips were undercooked. Lovely historic setting. Staff was aloof, not quite rude but heading in that direction, which was odd since restaurant was virtually empty early Saturday night.
