Bamboo House - Cookstown

This restaurant is a hidden gem at JB MDL. The chefs truly excel at preparing Thai cuisine. I highly recommend trying the Wheel Nah and Pad Prik King; they are standout dishes for me. Additionally, the owner offers a great selection of beverages. Although they only accept cash and the space can feel crowded and isn’t particularly visually appealing, it’s all worth it. You should definitely eat here!

The food is excellent, and they don’t customize dishes from the menu. The ambiance leaves something to be desired, and there isn’t much seating available. Thai cuisine is their specialty, and their Pad Thai is among the best I've ever had.

The food here is genuinely authentic, reminiscent of North Japan. Be sure to try the Gyoza Special! It's a small restaurant that impresses with its delightful atmosphere and outstanding cuisine!

I thought this place was outstanding. Their food was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. The spring rolls were piping hot and crisp, the pad thai was traditional and amazing, and the spicy fried rice was intense and delicous. The thai tea was easily the best thai tea I've ever had. I would recommend this place to anyone!

This is my favorite restaurant around the AFB. This place is great and I really like the owner. They are good people and the food is awesome. Just have patience because they take their time making the food but it is worth the wait. Please thing to do is call early before peak time. Peak time is around 12:00. Call about 11:00.
