Grandma's Pancake House - Cookeville

Wow, what a place! The pancakes were incredibly light, fluffy, and bursting with fantastic flavor. The hash browns were cooked perfectly. The vegetable omelette was the best I've ever tasted. I'm not sure who the chef is, but they certainly know how to make one of the best breakfasts we've ever had. The service was fast and friendly as well!

We visited this restaurant o December 30, 2021 during the morning breakfast hours. We ordered the breakfast plate with eggs. bacon, hash brown potatoes and toast. The eggs were ordered over medium and they cam with the whites extremely runny. The potatoes were greasy, cold and to the point that they were not edible. We sent the eggs back and it tool as long to get them as it did when we first ordered. By this time everyone had finished their meals and still no eggs. Most restaurants move you to the head of the line when you encounter a situation like this; however, this restaurant does not understand the protocol.

The place was packed. It's obviously a local favorite. It was convenient to my motel. It was clean and fast. Excellent pancakes, with a large variety of topping choices.

Sad to say, was very disappointed with my experience. First time being here, I decided to order to go and the attention I received was terrible. I was trying to talk. I was interrupt three times was not brought out my order and had to wait for over 20 minutes to order and another 20 to receive my food. I understand the places are busy during this time but the attention was terrible and the front desk lady was rude and disrespectful when I be returning and I do not recommend
