Whistle Post Tavern - Conyers

I had only what could be the worst post-mahlzeit experience ever!!! My husband and I came to lunch during my break. We ate, finished and asked for the check. When my husband asked for the review, he asked to submit a dessert order, but to apply it to the check. We paid, were then bagged out of dessert and went out. I ate something because I went back to work, but the dessert was for my husband. My husband realized he didn't have it or I. I called back and said I left the dessert and it was thrown out. There were hardly 10 minutes before I called. When I asked about another, I was told that they could submit a new order, but we would have to pay. Mine was the dessert close to $5, and we left a tip I expressed, and I was repeatedly told that the manager had no authority to give us another order. Although she took the order, served the order, received the payment and tip. I had to leave my information to the owner to contact me to give me an answer to whether we can restore the dessert without an additional fee. I've never heard of such stupidity. Customer service is simply not available. It wouldn't have taken anything to get back the article you dried up that we already paid and asked to go. It'll be my first and last time. So unhappy, unnecessary and sincerely rude when you ask me.

I had late lunch. The bartender had the best guinness I had since his stay in Dublin. Tried the fish reefs and it was spectacular. Ready with the funnel cakeries. We'll be back. Great food, good service. Very well done.

I like this place, can't say the same now. I decided to open wearing You have a handgun as I wanted to dress nicely with my shirt, and you don't have the opportunity to hide it like that. I didn't see a sign on the outside or inside while I entered that no weapons were allowed to me, so there is no law in the state of Georgia that you would stop wearing a gun in a bar or even while I was intoxicated that there was no problem. We were just about our meal when I was informed A gentlemen who just left who a police officer told us that it is illegal to wear a weapon in a bar or while drinking so please go into your car I knew this was 't the case, but did not want to disturb so that I offered to unload my gun and allow them to keep it behind the bar unattended until I go over there. This would obviously not be acceptable to the owner, and I was told that it was their policy and that they actually had a sign. At this point I decided that I didn't want to cause any trouble, so I decided to just pay and leave there. On my way, I realized that I could still not see any kind of signs or signs for her no firearm policy, so I asked her to point out the sign they mentioned. They pointed me to a very small sign, among many other characters and framed images on a wall about 15 feet outside the door. I thanked them and told them they should probably put a much bigger on the outside of the door so that people can actually see it. Final note: The land fried steak is more fried than steak, could not be able.

Delicious fish sandwich and pommes. Very clean. Great waiting staff. Hats to cook in the kitchen. The food is served hot and very fresh. The bar's finished. Always a pleasure to eat and a moment in WPT??

Visited on Thursday 7/14/2022 evening. The Fish sandwich with jalapeno tarter sauce is the BOMB) and sweet potato fries were AWESOME..... Great service too... our waitress Christina was very friendly and very attentive to our needs. Karaoke was going on and it was very fun watching and listening to all that were participating... I'll definitely be a returning customer!
