Milo's Jerk Hut - Conyers

I visited Milo's for the first time today and ordered the oxtail dinner along with a large jerk chicken. Unfortunately, both dishes lacked flavor and seasoning. The chicken was soft and mushy, almost as if it had been boiled, and it was definitely overcooked. I'm accustomed to jerk chicken that is grilled and packed with spices, so I was disappointed. I also asked for extra sauce, but it was bland and very watery. This was definitely my first and last time at Milo's.

I had an appointment to donate platelets at the Red Cross station in the same plaza as Milo's, so I decided to check out the menu based on some reviews. I noticed that oxtails were on the menu and felt I had to give them a try. I'm really glad I did! My "large" order included about eight oxtails, two cups of rice and beans, and about half a cup of cabbage, all for a total of $18. While I wasn’t too impressed with the lack of friendliness from the person who took my order, the food was quite good! I don’t live in the area, but I would definitely like to try some of their other dishes.

The Jerk chicken sandwich is excellent, served on homemade coco bread. The menu is authentically Jamaican, featuring dishes like cow foot, jerk chicken, cod fritters, and patties. They also offer a nice selection of Jamaican drinks. Inside, there are four small tables available.

This restaurant offers the best authentic Jamaican soups and dishes. Food: 5/5.

Wow, amazing! You have to try the J Chicken! It was such a satisfying experience.
