Very nice delicious family meal and good value for money great service, although it was very worth the visit.

Good socially distanced plan inside and outside. Covered table areas in beer garden. Bar staff especially pleasant in difficult circumstances. The youngsters who served food very helpful.

I’m sorry to say (because the staff seemed genuinely nice and friendly) but this was the worst carvery I’ve had the misfortune to eat. Everything was bland and the ‘beef’ was overcooked and tasteless m. Won’t be trying again and it’s such a shame as...the venue is perfectly situated and a Sunday Roast is not hard to go right.

We stayed in Palins caravan park for 7 days. We had our breakfast in Angies which is inside the Magpie and Stump. Both Angie and Paul could not be faulted for their friendliness and food quality. Highly recommended.

Very friendly staff and atmosphere. Never tried the food but looked and smelled nice. Family friendly with play areas.
