Hickory's Smokehouse - Conwy

My family and I recently celebrated my daughter's birthday at Hickory's, and we were pleasantly surprised by how busy they were, especially for a Monday evening outside of tourist season. It's definitely recommended to make a reservation beforehand. Having been to Hickory's multiple times in the past, I decided to try the wood smoked pork, jalapeno and cheese sausage this time. The dish came with a pot of bourbon gravy, pickles, slaw, and fries. I found the combination of sausage, gravy, pickles, and slaw to be absolutely delicious. However, I did find the portions of pickles and slaw to be a bit small, causing me to run out halfway through my meal. Despite this, the gravy was plentiful. The service at Hickory's is always great, though the prices are a bit on the higher side. The quirky sloping car park adds to the overall experience, especially after enjoying a couple of drinks with your meal.

We visited a large family restaurant with a southern USA theme on a busy Sunday lunchtime after experiencing a flat tire on the A55. Ryan from LNS recovery in St Asaph brought us there, as he frequently dined there with his girlfriend and highly recommended it. Despite the car hire company not contacting us for 6 hours after our car was taken away on a low loader, the restaurant staff were incredibly helpful and understanding. They quickly found us a table with space for our luggage and assured us that it was ours for as long as we needed. Throughout the four-hour wait, the staff checked in on us regularly and made sure we were comfortable. The food was served by attentive waiters who provided excellent customer service. Their empathy and understanding made a difficult situation much more bearable, and we were very impressed with the level of care we received.

They have come here for years and never had a bad eating or experience. try the new chicken king prawn under roll it was immense. they live over an hour away and definitely worth the trip. many thanks! comment from my year old. the bar “The apple juice actually tastes like real apples” its fave restaurant also

I recently attended a friend's birthday celebration at this restaurant and had an exceptional dining experience. The food was delicious, and the service provided by a young lady with brown hair was excellent. I will definitely be returning to dine here again.
