I have visited this restaurant before and have always enjoyed their donuts. However, today after our walk, the donuts were terrible. They were misshapen, overcooked, not round at all, and completely inedible. The person cooking them clearly needs more training because they seem to have no idea what they are doing. It is unlikely that we will be returning, and we may not be the only ones.
After taking a stroll along the beach, we had a craving for some donuts and stumbled upon the charming dinky donut kiosk. My wife was puzzled by its size, but I explained that they are just smaller, hence the term "dinky". I recalled seeing a stall selling similar donuts back in the Isle of Man a few years ago. They were delicious and because of their petite size, you never feel like you've indulged too much.
We decided to head to Pensarn Beach on a nice day to make the most of it. We were in the mood for a greasy burger, so when we saw that this kiosk was open, we decided to give it a try. However, we were disappointed to find out that they only sell donuts on weekdays. It's important for restaurants to have a menu that accurately reflects what they have available, especially if it changes frequently.
Nice little takeaway cafe with outdoor seating. Friendly staff. We had lovely cappuccinos, milkshake and fresh donuts. Just what you need on a windy beach day.
