Contribuiți la feedbackThis morning (Monday) me and Hubby popped in here for a light snack. It is situated opposite Wetherspoons. The lady behind the counter was helpful and friendly. There are only a few tables inside. They offer a takeway service as well. We enjoyed a large pot of tea (I liked the vintage crockery) and 2 slices of freshly baked cakes. I chose one with a caramel topping (Hubby chose the raspberry topping). The total bill came to £5.50 which we had to pay by cash as they haven't got a card machine. The toilet was clean and tidy to use.
This is my go to place when I fancy a jacket potato for my lunch or if I'm meeting my husband for lunch. The quality of the food is brilliant, the portion sizes very generous and the price, a steal. The service is great- the staff are friendly, chatty and accommodating. The choice of salad and sandwich fillings is plemtiful. This really is the best place for lunch in Colwyn Bay.
I went in here on Tuesday (Hubby waited outside). It is only a small cafe/takeaway. It was very clean inside and the young lady who served me wore hygienic latex gloves. I purchased a tagine spice kit, a slice of mocha cake and a coffee cake which came to £4.85 (cash only payments accepted). We walked to The Prom, sat down on a bench by The Pier and shared our treats i.e. we both had a half of each cake (we both preferred the coffee flavoured one).
Country Taste did my wedding catering three years ago and we have meaning to pop in for tea and cake and to say Hello. So yesterday on our third wedding anniversary we popped in. The food is yummy, would definitely recommend, great cake, tea and Vintage crockery.
All fresh and taste Amazing, loads of variety to choose from, great location for offices, other businesses and a stones throw away from the train station, handy for a quick grab before your journey
