Contribuiți la feedbackWarning! You would need to know spanish to order from this restaurant! The menus are all in spanish. My family is interracial and we heard through a colleague that the food was authentic and wanted to try this establishment. When we entered there were only 2 other patriots and they were hispanic. We ask for menus for takeout and no one could speak english! So we ask again if we could order and then they said no speak english so, clearly to us. Either they didn 't want to serve us or they didn 't want their establishment to prosper! It 's sad, we were really looking forward to trying this place!
Racist place. I wanted to order food and use my virtual card on my capital one account since they don't have apple pay and they told me the person that types the card into the credit card machine isn't here today..... If you are African American I would skip this establishment. There are plenty of awesome Mexican eateries on the beach.
Staff was great. Spoke very little English but it is a Mexican restaurant. Brush up in your Spanish. Will be back.
If you're in the area, be sure to visit Doña Toñita for some excellent authentic Mexican cuisine. I highly recommend it, and it will definitely be my go-to restaurant whenever I travel here. The delicious food, along with the respectful and high-quality service, make it worth a visit.
I had the large seafood soup, or caldo de mariscos, and it was heavenly! It had a medium level of spiciness and was packed with fish, shellfish, and more. The owner mentioned that it was her grandmother's recipe, so she was keeping it a secret. The service was very attentive, but it's helpful to know some Spanish if you want fast service. Otherwise, the owner, who speaks fluent English, will have to assist you. Every time I've visited, all the customers were Mexican, which is a good sign of authentic cuisine.
