The Travellers Rest - Consett

I make it a point to go every Wednesday night for a burger and a pint at the Travs. They have an amazing option to double every burger, which is fantastic. I also have to mention that their burgers are the best in County Durham, and the chips are absolutely delicious!

I stumbled upon this pub recently, and it's quite possibly the best place I've ever been for food, service, and drinks. The food was delicious, and the portions were generous, offering excellent value for money. Without a doubt, we will be returning!

This is a fantastic pub with friendly staff and a wonderful dining atmosphere. It's my favorite pub!

I had a lovely Sunday lunch yesterday. Everything was great, and I've never had a bad meal there. I would definitely recommend it!

I can genuinely say that Travs offers the best burgers, beer, and service in Consett by far. It's definitely one of the top local pubs in the Northeast. I always look forward to bringing the kids here; we’re always welcomed with open arms, especially on Wednesday nights during the school holidays.
