The Company Row (wetherspoon) - Consett

This restaurant is a great spot to spend an afternoon. The prices for drinks and food are reasonable. The food is simple, mostly fried or microwaved, but still tasty. It would be nice to see more options on the menu, but it's acceptable as is. The staff is very friendly. It can get crowded on weekends, so I prefer to visit during the week. The toilets are always clean. The location is convenient, right by town for a quick bite after shopping. They offer good deals on food and drinks, and they even send out vouchers to help you save more money. Overall, it's a fantastic place!

Consett's Wetherspoons is like the McDonalds of the drink industry - standard and unexciting. The building is a large, brick structure with entrances at both ends and rows of windows along the side. Inside, the design feels mundane, with raised eating areas near the entrances and a sea of tables in between. There is no background music, only the sound of chatter that adds to the school cafeteria vibe. The staff are average, although some may come off as slightly indifferent. The drinks are typical for a Wetherspoons. Overall, it's a no-frills establishment with cheap drinks and food, lacking character and atmosphere. There are better options available.

The beer is inexpensive, there is no entertainment, and the food is decent. It can be hard to have a conversation due to the echo from all the noise when the restaurant is busy. Similar to a standard Wetherspoons.

Fantastic pub, great Ales great food! Steaks are to die for especially the Aberdeen Angus!

This is a good pub and cheap the only thing that lets it down is the woefully bad service and the attitude of the bar staff is abysmal
