Vernon's Kuntry -b-que - Conroe

While traveling i stopped for some bbq, and experienced much more. Very down home feeling even with an outdoor eating space. We all ordered the classic bbq meal plates ribs sausage brisket potatoe saled mac n cheese fried okra green beans and was very pleased, huge portions!!! Then we had two very unexpected sides grilled tomatoes and cream cheese stuffed jalapeños. Oh my the best!!!! Great prices and great variety on menu they even had fish tacos. Sweet tea was amazing too and you can buy it by the gallon. Wish i lived closer.

Great food. If you’re visiting the area and looking for a great local BBQ joint. This is the place! The waitresses know everyone by name. I have the chopped beef sandwich and fried pickles and it was Awesome my wife had BBQ and I stole a few bites, also very good. They also have peanuts on the table to snack on which is always great. Highly recommended.

We ordered quite a bit of food and all of it was good. The baked potato balls though… Are amazing! And the new patio is really nice.

The BBQ is very good, my favorite in Conroe, the burgers are also very good, the only thing I don't like is they don't serve baked beans with the BBQ, you can only get pinto beans. I like pinto beans but not with bbq, other than that it's a great place with great food, great people too!

We ordered a sausage sandwich (awesome), Texas Toothpicks (fried peppers onions) great! One of the boys had fried chicken fingers and gravy...really good Just the kind of bbq joint I hope to come across on road trips! Really good food and atmosphere! Prices are very reasonable too!
