Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes Fries - Conover

To eat one of my favorite places! they have good burgers, but my favorite is something called moose. it is a chicken philly with speck. you can't go wrong with the tattoos. ask for shelly she is very friendly and attentive. in any case they give this place an attempt if they like good eating and enjoy old school diner vibes.

Great food and friendly folks that actually hold the door open and greet you as you enter. Cool old school burger joint/diner/drive-in vibe. I would definitely stop there again. Slightly hidden but not too far off the highway.

This food was such a disaster. My wife and I hated this place for years because it was always bad but we wanted to give it a shot. The food was disgusting. My ?chicken sandwich? was undercooked and soggy, my wife?s hot dog was a color I?ve never seen in hot dogs, the fries were gross and there were flies everywhere. EVERYWHERE. Someone shut this place down. Do not try this place. DO NOT TRY THIS PLACE.

Burgers were delicious and we tried the onion rings for the first time, also spectacular! Our server was very friendly and helpful and we saw the other server go way out of her way to open the door for some folks that needed assistance. 5 stars for.food AND service!

Our last visit was on Sunday 8/7/22. We love our server, Shelley. She is always attentive to what we need. Even when it is extremely busy she makes sure everyone feels like they are her inly customer. The food is fresh and made to order each time. Thank you Shelley for always making us feel right at home!!
