Authentic South Indian Taste and owner is so curtorious must go place
The owner is very proud that he's the 3rd generation managing the restaurant and that they are one of the first restaurants in town. I guess the grandfather who set up this restaurant would not be happy to see how his grandchild manages the place. Service is very bad. The owner, sitting on the table next to us, was watching a movie on his tablet. Very loud. So quite uncomfortable for us. The food was OK. This is the reason my review gets 3 star. But we were only served 2 chapattis with our tali and every extra chapatti or extra dal had to be paid for. Making money is clearly the priority in this restaurant and service is far behind.
Terrible quality, high cost unhigenic . Rude behaviour of owner. Never ate so bad quality even in roadside stalls in chennai. Zero grade
It's like a small restaurant which the family has opened in their home itself. We ignored the ambience thinking we would get some good homely and authentic South Indian food, however it turned out to be just OK. We ordered almost everything from what the owner told us as available at that time. Dosa and Uttapam were both extremely good and fluffy, however Sambhar and Chutney both were horrible. I am not sure how they messed up the Sambhar, it was tasting like normal Dal that too with no taste. Wada and Rasam were not available, so we ordered Idly which was also not so good. Overall ok experience worth only to order Dosa/Uttapam.
