I booked a table for 9 of us for my daughter 14th birthday, the staff was really friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious, each of us was satisfied with our meal. great place, great atmosphere, like at home, will definitely visit a lot more.

The meal was amazing, had the 3 course Christmas dinner. The service was lovely and would recommend them for a meal

Visited the pub for Sunday lunch few weeks ago was so impressed my husband booked for Mother's Day had an excellent meal with my family definitely worth a visit good service nice hot food good price and a good selection of beers

We moored our boat right at the bottom of the steps and enjoyed a good band to whom Ziggy our Border Collie sang along to. The Timothy Taylor 's was on form. When we asked if they opened for breakfast they answered would you like us to? . A vegetarian breakfast and, a full English for me (I needed it for the twelve locks I had to work) set us up for our journey that day. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Amazing pub, I used to come here all the time with my dad when I was little and it still has the same warm and welcoming atmosphere today. We were celebrating a birthday and the staff could not have been more friendly or accommodating, they made a special veggie meal for my toddler as there were no options on the kids menu and the food was all homemade and plentiful. Real value for money, we'll definitely be back soon!
