Waffle House - Concord

3years later update. Came back to see if it?s any better. Customer service is better but can be improved. This time around I visited around 2pm on a Friday. Updated from 2stars to 3stars. ??????????????????????????? My friend and I went around 830pm onFriday. We were the only customers. Nobody attended to us, the place was freezing cold. It was clean and the cook was sweet Iremember him because he said hello as soon as we walked in. Everything after that was just cold we left because of badcustomer service. We left a few minutes later.

Outstanding customer service! The food is great, and the prices are reasonable.

My meal was not prepared as I requested, and I don’t understand why the chef completely ignored my instructions. It’s not like the restaurant was crowded; there were plenty of open tables. It surprises me that at the location by Walmart, my food is always perfect and consistently priced. However, at this location and the one on Westpark, the food always costs more and never comes out the way I ask. Is it really that difficult to make the hash browns soft and to cook an egg over medium? That should be easy for any restaurant chef.

It’s great to have Waffle House back after spending the last five years in California. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was fantastic!

The hiring manager needs to reassess their choices, as the attitude displayed by the staff was unacceptable. They were arguing with one another in front of customers, which was quite disappointing. I genuinely felt sorry for the woman who was caught in the middle of it all.
