El Yahualica Tacos - Concord

I used to live around the corner and bought their tacos almost every day. That was about 40 years ago. It must be passed through the family because it still has the same soft tacos I love. I'm not going as often as I want, but I'm going to go on there as long as they're around. Oh, the Carnitas are great too, because I'm sure their whole food is.

The food was good, but the menu was outdated. I ended up being charged more than I anticipated.

The green shredded chicken enchiladas served here are the best I had in the center of Contra Costa County. The other articles I ordered are quite common. To their credit, the food here is usually very clean and not certainly not greasy.

The birria tacos were delicious, the Baja fish taco was crunchy and fresh, and the guacamole, which we saw the chef prepare in minutes, was tasty. Overall, it was a great dining experience with quick service.

I ordered chicken tacos and a chicken burrito, and they were absolutely fantastic. They were freshly cooked right after I placed my order, so they were piping hot. The sauces and salsa were delicious too. I will definitely be returning to try the other dishes!
