El Vallarta Mexican - Concord

Fantastic restaurant with delicious burritos! The waitress is incredibly friendly and personable. The chips are fresh, and the prices are very reasonable!

The service was excellent, and the food was satisfactory. I ordered the quesadilla with beef tips, but the meat seemed more like a stew that had not been cooked long enough, resulting in it being a bit tough. My daughter had the tacos and really enjoyed them. My friend tried the chimichanga and thought it was just okay.

The food was nice and hot and fresh. My waitress made me feel like she was my Spanish aunt and not just my server. I enjoyed it. Of course I'm back.

My sister and I had a disappointing experience at dinner tonight. The service was very slow. We ordered two margaritas, but a family that arrived after us received their drinks first. After waiting about 15 minutes, I decided to cancel our drink order. The bartender mentioned that he was busy helping with food, which is understandable, but we felt ignored multiple times. Not only with the drinks, but we also had to ask several times for boxes and our drinks were left empty. It's a shame because this place used to have great service. Unfortunately, our dinner tonight was quite unsatisfactory.

We had lunch there today and my order came with a steak. It was tough and hard to chew. I otherwise still would go, but next time, I'll send it back.
