Diggers Diner - Concord

One of my favorite diners in the Bay area. These days it's very difficult to find great food at an affordable price especially in the Bay area, and this place is a prime example of what Diner's in America should look like. A place where everyone can enjoy a meal a an affordable price. Oh and they gave me Veteran discount a huge plus.

Homey place with a retro vibe. Food was priced well, generous portions and quite good. The service was slow and may have been short staffed although our server was apologetic and fairly responsive. A good place for families with basic American fare that should please most

The food is always incredible. The service is always friendly. Great atmosphere when you just want to get away and enjoy good tasting diner food with friends and family. I got nothing bad to say about this place. A good friend of mine brought me here years ago and I'm just happy Diggers Diner is still there. It always brings back good memories from the first bite. Try it for yourself and you'll see what I'm talking about. (Try their specialties... the pictures below shows that I did... the Crypt Burger was amazing!

Food is great. Service was good. I asked for a XXL t-shirt, got one, but it was too small because it's a women's XXL. I'll give it to my daughter. Maybe they should carry men's XXL. There is a difference.

The restaurant offers a fantastic menu with plenty of options for customizing your meal. I had a BBQ bacon burger topped with pineapple, and it was delicious! However, the shake I ordered wasn’t very good today. On the bright side, the basket of fries is generous enough to share among several people.
