Denny's - Concord

Let me just say that I worked as a waitress at denny’s, that is, today’s experience was terrible! our party of 5 waited 10 minutes to even be recognized by the employees. once sitting, drinking and eating were ordered, we were told that they were from almost half the items we ordered were not on camp. the spicy bottles were sticky and dirty! the bananas on my pancakes were blue and brown. three people in our party ordered sweater to drink and if we wanted a refill, they said they had already thrown them out, I wonder why, knowing, there was a probability that a refill would be necessary. I was offered something else to drink, I said coffee and the waitress went away to say nothing. she came back 10 minutes later, empty hand. not even she said it would be a minute to brew more or something. also the bathroom was dirty and was made of toilet paper! the service was terrible and the personal obviously not properly trained! I'm not back!

Eating was not just the previous standards. we ordered items that the server said were available, and then, when 1 person order came out of the kitchen, we were informed that they were from items from the other 2 ordering, so we had to order and sit and wait, so that when we got our food, the other member of our party was ready. with so few customers at the place, there was no reason why the cook could not have informed the server that what we ordered was not early enough for us to do the substitution and allow everyone in the group to enjoy their meal at the same time, instead of 20 minutes apart!

The family today after the alice in wonderland virtual escape has stopped here for a late lunch. we waited an hour and a half before our cold meals were served. we wanted to see the manager, demetria. When it was explained to the manager, by our waitress, what was going on, demetria shook her head and said quite loud, oh no, I didn't have to do with it today and turned her abruptly on us and the waitress when she left. the waitress got on the phone and tried to help by reducing our meal times, and the manager, demetria said no...uh.uh again and screamed her head when the waitress tried to communicate the problem. the manager arranged a customer and then picked up their wallet and left the restaurant. apparently, they let their employees handle it. (at this time there were others in the restaurant who complained that they were not served yet. a few stayed there while we stood there. that is the poorest service of a manager I have ever experienced. not only rude for the customer, but also for the employee never we will visit this place again if it was the last restaurant on google!

The waitress was great, unfortunately it was terrible. the cook must be fired. the eggs were also unusable after a second test via medium. the beef sandwich was fat. the only decent element were the fries.

This is my favorite go to spot after shopping at the mall with the family. With our current hot weather it's a pleasure to come here and feel the cold ac and drink one of their signature iced teas while wondering what mouth watering meal to get.
