The Avenue Banquet Hall - Concord

If I could sum it all up in one word, it would be phenomenal! What an extraordinary experience. My wedding was held at The Avenue Banquet Hall on February 18th, 2017, and it was amazing. Everyone raved about the food, starting from the hor derves, to the appetizer, the jerk chicken main course was absolutely delicious, all the way up to the late night dessert table. It was truly incredible. Marla is super helpful, she works with amazing vendors and she recommends exactly what she thinks you're looking for! SERVICE is A , Lita is amazing, such a warm and open person. Anything I asked for she gave it to me or made it happen, she made my event way more perfect than I could have imagined it to be. I would absolutely recommend this banquet space to anyone!

The hall has a separate room for the ceremony. It was very nicely decorated. The food was very well presented, and delicious. The evening was magical!

A few months ago my husband and I were invited to my 2nd cousin’s engagement party in Toronto, Canada. She had organized it at the Avenue Banquet Hall. As a native New Yorker, when I saw “banquet hall” on the invitation, my brain went to “meeting room.” But apparently in Canada, the term “banquet hall” means something entirely different. The décor was very nice and updated and the place was clean and tidy. The food was delicious, and had I not known that I was eating at a large group event, I would have never guessed. The meal tasted as if it had been individually prepared, as if we had ordered it in a restaurant, and it came out piping hot. The staff was very nice and friendly, and they were always coming around and asking us if we needed anything. I was quite impressed, and if I lived in the area, I would certainly consider using them for another special event.

One of those places that tell you all the nicest things in order to sell and then after we booked Marla became rude and unhelpful. She promised that its a single event venue and that they dont book more than one function a day, however they still do. In fact, she had the nerve of booking another wedding on the same day and telling us it wont be a problem for us. Luckily we got on top of it in time to avoid a disaster. So make sure not to let them book another event on the day of yours, if you dont want your event to run late. Food is great. Servers are ok. Bride and groom struggled to get their attnetion. You need to be on top of Marla and her staff to make sure they do what you ask. She said she will be available to coordinate our event however she was MIA most of the time. Our table arrangements were screwed up in spite of providing a specific map. This is a nice venue if you can be persistant, firm, and stand your ground as well as be on top of everything making sure things happen the way you want them.

The ambiance is modern and pleasant. The food is amazing and the owner is wonderful to deal with. No compliants. This was the most fun shower I have attended.
