Decor in the inside room is good, but the benches to the left are rather cold near the windows and door. Stay away if dim sum-ing. Roast meats are so so. Nothing special. Window with tanks of seafood swimming around.Dim sum was interesting for lack of a better word. Variety much greater than suburban chinese, but content not par with some of the better chinese places in Toronto. Rice noodle rolls are excellent, deep fried crab ridiculously expensive. Charge for chinese tea. Too little jelly fish and no other interesting meats (like hocks, tripe, etc), in the mixed cold plate. Shredded cold chicken noodle ok, sauce was fun. Other dim sim ok. All dim sum plates are small in quantity, but big in price!Value is low. Expensive, $33 pp for lunch dim sum without booze, is poor. Would not return unless desperate in Wonderland.
This place is pretty clean and sitting spacing is good. Not close tight as other restaurant do .The lighting is really bad because is really dark ....... !! More brighter up will be great. The server service is great and understandable on certain out of the menu request ( I request raw cut chili ) they do accommodate and deliver my fresh cut chili. The crispy skin chicken ( they use free range chicken ) is really good and porridge variety is great. The Dim Sum is just okay !! Nothing special. They have more variety only on weekend. They should have more variety of canton soup and change the menu every six month. The dinner menu kind of boring and not really cater for anyone ........ The price is fair and the crispy skin chicken is great ...... is better than the Peking Duck .Hope my next visit will be great improvement and well lighted restaurant.
Definitely above average in terms of quality and service. Portions appear a tiny bit small compared to others. More than average in terms of cost tho.
I live 5 mins drive away from this restaurant, but I eat here only here 2-3 times a year. Food is good but it's very expensive. I would rather drive 15 -20 mins more to Richmond Hill and have better food and better price. I feel more satisfy this way! their BBQ DUCK is delicious.
Authentic Chinese dining experience with better service. Most of the Authentic Chinese Restaurants we have been to seem to treat their Non-Chinese patrons as second class citizens. This one attempts to break that trend by serving good authentic food with better service. We have come here for Dim Sum and Dinner Service. Each time the food was good, prepared timely and the service is better than most other places.
