Le P'tit Bac - Concarneau

We sat outside on the upper terrace. a beautiful sunny day. we both have ordered moules and frit. the courts were generous. an interesting shape shell that has worked the mush and the chips. the service was good. a beautiful small bistro in the heart of the city concarneau. can recommend.

Mustels and beer is an unbeatable combination to lunch. the muddles were delicious and there were at least 50 in serving. the waiting staff was fast and efficient.

Stopped for jambon fromage crepes for lunch with salad and chips (came with skin on totally delicious). Lovely staff and timely service!

The fortified part of the town is lovely and I thought all the restaurants would be tourist traps with sub-quality food. I was happy for this place to prove me wrong. The set menu had reasonable choice that it satisfied both adults and kid. To...start I had a very generous serving of fish soup. Not overly fishy but very tasty none the less. For main I had tuna in a tomato sauce. It was piping hot straight from the oven and there was more tune hiding under the sauce than I expected. I tried the custard tart for desert. It was ok but then I’m not a massive fan (I just wanted to try something a bit different). Highly recommended as a stop off for lunch.

We stopped just for coffee and looked at the menu,and decided to come back in a few days for lunch,a good selection on offer and reasonably priced
