Contribuiți la feedbackThis is a good place to eat and experience the taste sensations offered by this cuisine. The food is tasty and well presented and although we arrived just before their closing time on a Tuesday evening, it was served with a smile. I did note however that the lights behind the reception desk started being switched off after about 30 minutes - perhaps that was a hint that the waitress wanted to go home! However, we understood that she had probably had a long day and we were happy they served us at that hour.
Perfect for breakfast, good value on coffee. As a regular costumer my coffee order is always remembered and delivered with a smile. Breakfast/Lunch are great. Have not been for dinner. Has a great alfresco feel with doors open. Sitting outside on a nice day is great too.
This restaurant never disappoints. We have been here many times and the food is wonderful. Also BYO which makes it a reasonable cost.
This was the second visit to this restaurant and, while the food was fine, there were a couple of issues that I'll deal with first.Firstly, I can never understand the need for a TV in a restaurant. The set was on a loop playing promotional travel clips of Nepal. Most distracting! On our earlier visit we were seated directly under the TV and felt as though fellow patrons were watching us!Secondly, the flies! I swatted one that had been crawling around while a second landed in my wife's glass of champers. Most off-putting. The waitress, who was obviously embarrassed, quickly replaced the glass but no further mention was made even though it was obvious there were still a couple of flies still buzzing around. Finally, the aforementioned waitress was running the front of house all on her own. She was midway through taking our order when she had to dash off to answer the phone. To expect one person to deal with 5 occupied tables (taking orders and bringing out dishes), take phone orders and deal with takeaway customers and operate the till was ridiculous.Having dealt with that, let's move on to the restaurant and the food.Apart from the TV the restaurant is tastefully decorated and, apart from the flies, was very clean. For our entree we shared Chicken Momo and Singada (Samosas). The Chicken dish was accompanied by a delicious sauce while the Singada had a nice, spicy "kick". Our main course was a shared Prawn Masala together with plain rice and cheese naan. The prawn dish had nine or ten succulent prawns and the sauce (we had requested "medium") had a good degree of heat. The quantities were more than adequate for us both to share. Our bill came to a tad under $60 which is on a par with similar restaurants.Had it not been for the issues mentioned, my score may have been a lot closer to the 4 or 5 that other reviewers have given.
We were a group of six and enjoyed the fact that the place was not too busy and we could all talk comfortably. The food was excellent and we intend to go back again for more of the favourite dishes.
