Zapata Mexican Taco Shop

Very nice and clean restaurant reminiscent of Monica's and Taco Express, but cleaner and more upscale. They have a very well put together salsa bar and the staff was very courteous. The food was delicious and I would (and have) definitely come back.

One of the laziest owner/manager in the biz. Gets annoyed when asking for basic things like limes, and once the salsa gets low he just says ?im out??. Incompetence, Also the menudo was literally water with red food coloring and a table spoon of ingredients. These restaurants need to go out of business or sold to allow better people to succeed

Their Zapata fries are so delicious. It's a good amount of food for the price and beautifully presented on the plate. Best loaded fries I've had. Can't wait to come back and try some more foods from their menu like the nachos or tacos. The food came fast also and the servers are nice and kind in person and over the phone. Thank you for great service.

Food turned out great. Cook was awesome. But the guy taking orders at the front, nothing but rude for absolutely no reason. Just inconvienced he had to be doing his job. Huffed when we asked to pay w 2 different cards. Then started mopping the floor and then served our food with those same gloves on touching all the salsa containers and putting then on top of the tacos. Gross.

Pretty good taco shop! I sampled some of the tacos. Pollo asado was ok, needed some salsa to kick up the flavor. Al pastor was really good. Carne asada was good. Not sure why they added pinto beans to it?! Overall a good experience. Nice choice of beverages and well stocked salsa bar too. I would definitely come back to try more!
