I absolutely destroyed that avacado toast- let me tell you something, I don't know what they call that stuff, man- but that pickled carrot. You gotta stop playing. If they give me one I'll tear it up live.
Our server Ben set the tone with prompt service and informed recommendations. We had dinner on 10/14 on the patio. We started with a lavender margarita and it was well balanced, just right boozy and so I had 2! Then we moved to the curry mussels and brussel sprouts. Both were delicious, the curry was the right mix of spicy and sweet, the bread served with the dish perfectly absorbed the extra sauce. The sprouts were also quite good and prepared slightly different than the menu due to we don't eat bacon. We finished with the ravioli and black bass. I was impressed with how much the ravioli tasted like it was from Italy, so good. The smoked paprika sauce stood out uniquely in another tasty dish.
Mykel was an awesome server who made the experience great. Would visit again.
One of the best restaurants in German Village. From the decor and service to the food, this place is fantastic!! And their short rib ragu is one of the best dishes I've had in the state. Unbelievable
