The Pearl - Columbus

When we first got to the restaurant, we told the hostess that we had a 7:30 reservation. She told us that she would let us know when our table was ready. She was extremely unfriendly and acted very annoyed. The restaurant was very busy and it seemed like it was overbooked. The temperature was so hot because all of the doors and windows were open. We waited 20 minutes, and then I returned to the hostess stand, where I was greeted in a very rude way, and told that our table was still not ready. At 7:50, my name was called and she stated that we had a 745 reservation. I knew this wasn't correct when looking at my OpenTable app. When we were seated, our server was extremely friendly and offered lots of suggestions for the menu. The food was outstanding, but service was extremely slow. We dined with friends and split the bill in half. When the checks came, I was charged for the full meal and my friend was charged for half of the meal plus there was a $90 tip that was attached. When we brought it to the servers attention, he said he had made a mistake and that my card would eventually have the charges dropped off. He charged my card again half of the bill. 24 hours later and my card still hasn't been updated. Unfortunately, when we are back in town, this will not be one of the restaurants we visit again. 

Always love going to The Pearl. Love the food and drinks and fun ambiance. This visit was a bit unpleasant as it was so hot in the restaurant. All front windows were open for most of our visit eventually closed most. Glad it was an 80+ degree day and not the 90 degree days we recently experienced. Regardless, we will continue to frequent this restaurant.

As always, brunch at the Pearl was excellent. Highly recommend the Jalapeno Corn Bread and any of the brunch choices. Staff was excellent and we enjoy always this jewel of Columbus.

The Pearl is a fantastic spot for gathering with colleagues or friends. The ambiance is perfect for relaxed, social dining. We tried the fried chicken, and it was outstanding—perfectly crispy on the outside and wonderfully juicy inside. It's a great place to unwind after work or enjoy a casual meet-up. Whether you're there for the food or the laid-back vibe, The Pearl is definitely worth a visit!
