Mcalister's Deli - Columbus

I ordered a deli sandwich that was quite pricey, but unfortunately, it was poorly assembled and not to my taste. Despite informing them that I would be eating it while driving, it was clearly not prepared for that. I ended up having to stop and buy paper towels because they didn’t provide any napkins with the messy sandwich. Overall, I would rate the food a 2 out of 5.

The food is average, but the second course is quite good. The restaurant is clean, and I've visited more than once just for the sandwiches.

The restaurant has a lovely and clean atmosphere. The cashier was very friendly, and there was a man who kept apologizing for the slight delay in my order, but I only had to wait about 3 minutes. We tried the Savannah Salad, and it was fantastic! This was my first visit, and I will definitely be returning.

Fantastic spot for lunch! My daughter and I ordered the combo sandwich and salad, and it was excellent—great food for the price. It did take a little while to get our takeout, but like many places these days, I assume they were short-staffed. The manager was very apologetic, which was appreciated, but we totally understood. I would definitely recommend this place!

Sweet tea is all you need! While it may not be the true Southern sweet tea, it still has a great taste. Unfortunately, you can't use it as pancake syrup like you can at some other tea spots, but at least it’s made with real sugar, not that artificial stuff. The sandwiches are tasty, but I find them a bit pricey. I usually go for lunch specials because I prefer to save money, but I like to think of myself as frugal to sound more refined!
