Joy Wok - Columbus

I walked back to my truck and waited another 5 minutes, but still, no one came to the door or showed any indication they were ready to start the day, so I decided to leave. About 10 minutes later, as I was driving away from Columbus, I received a call from Joy Wok. I'm sorry, but you’ve lost a customer today—probably for good. I just got tired of waiting for you to open.

Wow! I placed a large order today (Tuesday), and while I was on my way home, Joy Wok called to let me know they had forgotten to include my mei fun noodles in the bag, so I went back to pick them up. Unfortunately, they were way too salty, and we had to throw them away! There was either an excessive amount of MSG or just straight-up salt. My husband ended up discarding them. What a waste!

We did not enjoy our meals. The beef was tough, egg rolls were small.

I must say I was pleasantly surprised to discover such an outstanding sushi restaurant in this small town in North Carolina. It recently opened, and the sushi was fantastic, paired with friendly and attentive staff. I highly recommend it!

Food is good. Typical take out, small town, Asian restaurant. Hope they stay in business with that sushi place opening up right next to them..
