Absolutely delicious! The portions are generous, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Great food and a wonderful atmosphere!

We tried a few things such as: gumbo, clam chowder, a fried whole red snapper, and fried calamari rings. The gumbo was pretty thick and wasn't quite as I had imagined but it was good. The chowder was very rich, flavorful, but also thicker than what I imagine... the whole red snapper was fresh and tremendous!! The vegetables and rice accompied this fish perfectly!! The calamari rings were tender and bouncy. Kim took VERY GOOD care of us. We would come back again for sure!

The BEST walleye sandwich and great clam chowder. Both a dine in carryout restaurant and a fresh Seafood fish market. The people are so friendly too. I really love this place and whole-heartedly recommend it. Columbus is blessed to have this place.

A few days later, my wife reminded me about this place as we were approaching the exit where this supposedly amazing seafood was located. She was insistent, so I reluctantly agreed to go. Once we arrived, I was ready to dismiss it as a waste of time. The interior was exactly as described, but the aroma wafting through the air was enticing. The small bar had just two seats available, so we decided to sit there. The smell was absolutely wonderful. We ordered from a “select menu” hanging on the wall—it was overwhelming with so many options and types of seafood! I was already salivating. When our meals arrived, they were brought to us by the kindest young woman I’ve met in a month. And then I tasted the food... it was the best seafood meal I have ever had—and I didn’t even need to take out a loan to afford it! I can’t say enough good things about how charming this place is, and the food was outstanding. Additionally, there’s a fish market where you can buy almost any kind of fresh seafood to take home and prepare yourself. It really was an unforgettable experience!

Oh my goodness! Frank's is a hidden gem – hands down the best seafood in the city. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys fish and seafood! The gumbo is incredible; it feels like you’re in New Orleans. The fried fish has the lightest batter, and the tartar sauce recipe is absolutely delicious! The prices are great, and the staff is super friendly!
