Out of all the restaurants in Cbus, there is no other one that I recommend the most. This IS the purest form of proper cooking period. Every time I order here the food is phenomenal.

I'm originally from Columbus but live in Texas now. Came back to visit and wanted some oxtails. I went here based on the reviews online. In my opinion, the oxtails were not what I'm use to. Normally, the oxtails I've had were in a dark brown gravy. They also have butter beans with the peppers and onions cooked down. These oxtails reminded me of a piece of beef that was pretty tender.

Haven't seen the Diners Drive-Ins and dives episode featured about this place, but it was featured for good reason. CORNBREAD SO MOIST!

This has become one of my favorite spots to grab a good meal to go. I get the jerk chicken, rice and beans and Mac and cheese every time so I can only speak to that. It is absolutely fantastic! Chicken is very tender and seasoned perfectly!
