Contribuiți la feedbackI have mixed feelings about my visit to Stack City last night. I went with 4 other people and out of the 5 of us I think only 1 person had the correct burger (sorry a lot of numbers in that sentence. 3 of us ordered the exact same burger and all 3 of us received a burger that looked completely different. 2 people sent theirs back and had to ask for the new burgers to go. They texted me later and told me the corrected burgers were over cooked, and had toppings they specifically asked to have left off. My burger was supposed to have bacon on it but I never received any. However, I ate it anyway, and I actually did think it tasted pretty good. I 'll probably give Stack City another chance maybe they were just having an off night
Service is incredible, burgers are disappointing. Come here if you want to grab some drinks and appetizers but if your goal is to hunt down a really delicious Columbus burger I would so pass on this place. It's not that their burgers are baaaad it's just they're blaaaaand. Like sure they have creative twists and toppings like adding in onion rings and fried eggs and whatnot but you know a burger be struggling if the toppings are the sole source of flavor. And it's overpriced ... SO overpriced. Want to really find a good burger? Head to Flavor 91 in Whitehall, I know it's a bit of a drive but now that's a good burger, probably the best I've had in Columbus. The key is a perfect patty which it nails down. Also I love restaurant made chips but I gotta say that Brazenhead makes way better chips. These chips are unsalted and I frankly don't give a **** about them. Brazenhead ones on the other hand are nicely salted and have an amazing blend of crispy edges and soft interior I'm not sure what their secret is but it's amazing and also comes with a delicious sauce. I guess the theme of the stuff here is blandness. Bland chips bland burgers! BUT to be fair we did find ONE sauce that was incredible. It came with the burger that has the onion ring in it, I can't recall the name. Order a side of that sauce to dip your chips or fries in and you should be fine. Overall this was meh. But I know y'all will keep coming here because it's conveniently located in the short north and when you're either already drunk or about to be, I guess this will suffice...
On the first visit I gave 3 stars, I was immediately contacted by Emily of Stack City to see if I was interested in talking to their general manager about the visit, so I gave her nny contact info so she could. The GM was positive to talk to and asked that we contact her the next time we planned to visit. On 1/10/18 our daughter went to her grandparents and we had date night here and it was a great experience all around! The GM wasn't available last night but our server, Mikayla was awesome! Every time she came to our table, or left our table she was literally skipping! That also might be because she was excited about her upcoming cruise! Wednesday was .65 and .55 wing night so we had wings for dinner and they were delicious! My husband likes traditional, I like boneless and we were both happy with our choices of sauces, BBQ, garlic parmesan. Definitely will return!
Solid burger joint in the heart of Short North! Stack City offers a variety of delicious burger options as well other appetizers and sides that will appease your gluttonous side. Various specials also go on throughout the week, another reason to make the trip over on weekdays. I had the BBQ burger which was delicious and cooked just the way I liked it. The truffle chips were awesome and loaded with flavor, but definitely on the greasy side. They also offer a nice selection of different brews on draft (around 12 or so). Food came out relatively quick. Had a great time with some friends, and definitely a perfect place to pig out on a Friday!
I've wanted to go here for a long, long time. I finally made it today for lunch. It's Humpday so the wings were on special. We tried the Garlic Parmesan flavor. The wings had a good flavor, but needed another 2 or 3 minutes in the fryer. They were soft and I like my skin to be crispy. They also have a lunch deal for $12 including a drink. We had the Red, White, and Blue burger and fries. That grass fed beef is really good. The onion rings are good too, but my favorite is the Biscoff Shake. At first, I was complaining that it was too small, then I tasted it and didn't care. It's absolutely delicious!
