Having spent years in Texas and Southern California, I'm a pretty good judge of authentic Mexican cuisine. This is pretty good. I seriously felt that I could have been in a small mom and pop place in old Tijuana (in the 70's.)Most people will find their salsa excellent. It's much better than I have found in larger restaurants. The tacos (not American style) were pretty good, but the meat was bland. My wife had fajitas, and they were excellent. Water is via a bottle, and we were the only people eating inside. Outside has a couple of tables, mostly for take-out order waiting.I'm not sure we will go back, but not suggesting anyone wouldn't be pleased they gave them a try.
After The pandemic....I went back...now is MI Casita Restaurant/Taqueria...I went over the weekend...they have Menudo ...Caldo De Res and Tamales....New Owner ....good food!!
Small hidden little gem run by a nice family, they have amazing tacos and good desserts they catered a wedding I went to and it was probably the best food at a wedding I have ever had
Super amazing hidden gem! Food is fantastic and the atmosphere is too! Everything is made from scratch, even the chips! (So don't get upset when you have to wait just a little longer than normal it's so worth it)I can't say this very often, this is by far one of the best places I have eaten in over 4 years!
Had their asada taco which was amazing, well seasoned and delicious. I also bought a pineapple cake and it was so moist and delicious, especially with the little chunks of pineapple throughout. Highly recommended, my taco spot. Highly recommended!
