Vanh Dy's Asian Steak Lounge - Columbia

Amazing food! Would've never known about it if someone hadn't mentioned it on Facebook. I've sent several folks there after finding it and they've all loved it!

This place is a gem with its ban style bar upstairs with live music. The drinks are good, the food is excellent I mean ALL the food). The only downside is that the live music is too loud to have pleasant conversations at one of the inside tables or bar area without talking extremely loud or yelling. The patio offers a quieter experience when the weather permits. For the room, a microphone and acoustic instrumentation would suffice and provide a more enjoyable dining experience. The lower floors are much quieter, but lack the nostalgic flair of the ban style that the upper floors have. It's give and take what you want. Overall the food is amazing (5 the pricing is in place for the quantity quality (5 music is great but way too loud always(3 atmosphere upstairs (5 downstairs (3 patio)

Fresh rolls were gross! Basically sticky thick dough you couldn't even cut! Waited.for more sauce for some long. Then the tempura was a bug pile of stuck togerher dough. Dough uncooked in the broccoli. Not traditional tempura. Do t buy these 2 items. Noodles were better. Won't go back.

The food was average. Definitely not worth the price tag!

The music and energy level was fantastic. Obviously the food was delicious as always.I almost hate to say much as I don’t want the world to discover this Columbia gem.
