Fujiyama - Columbia

If you love nigiri and sashimi, the best sushi rolls and the freshest fish, you have got to try Fujiuama. Highly recommend the Russ Roll and the Crazy Tuna Rolls. If you need a bit of fire under it, so it won't be confused with your fishing bait (haha) try the Garzilla Roll. Of the cooked rolls, it is an excellent choice that everyone will enjoy. Fujiyama's is one of our finest restaurants in Columbia. Makes a meal a very special occasion.

The seaweed salad was frozen, had a bad odor and unpleasant taste. The sushi did not smell fresh, did not have good flavor and was super rubbery. They put slices of lemon between the fish as if trying to mask something. Ive never seen that before. The wontons in the soup were okay but the broth tasted like it was loaded down with pepper. I took one bite of everything except the wontons in the soup and threw the rest away. I try not to ever leave bad reviews, and maybe they were just having an off night, but this was terrible. It also wasnt bagged well. They put the larger containers on top of the small containers, which made the bag fall over after the dasher dropped it off. I will not be ordering from here again. Im only giving it 2 stars because the wontons were the only thing worth a halfway thumbs up.

Every dish at Fujiyama's has been exceptional. The service is always attentive, and the freshness of the ingredients is consistently top-notch. Their custom rolls are absolutely delightful; I particularly love the Russ Roll, Crazy Tuna Roll, and Garzilla Roll. The sashimi here is the best you’ll find in Middle Tennessee, especially south of Nashville. Fujiyama’s beautifully captures a slice of Asian culture while offering healthy dining options. It’s truly one of the standout restaurants in Columbia and the surrounding areas, and it’s worth making time for a visit. You won't just be satisfying your hunger; you’ll enjoy a wonderful culinary experience. The atmosphere is warm, the service is excellent, and the food is fantastic. Even if you think sushi isn’t your thing, I highly recommend trying the Garzilla roll as an appetizer. It’s a deep-fried roll that offers a hint of sushi flavor while ensuring you have the satisfaction of a cooked dish. Don’t miss out on dining at Fujiyama's!

The best sushi restaurant in Middle Tennessee! The sashimi is incredibly fresh. I absolutely love the Garzilla Roll, Crazy Tuna Roll, Osaka Roll, and especially the Crazy Friday Roll. The best value is the Boat for 2. The customer service is fantastic. It's my favorite restaurant in my hometown, and the lunch specials are very affordable.
