Columbia Crossing Good Times Tavern

This restaurant is closed, and the building is currently for sale. We really enjoyed our visits here, especially listening to the live bands upstairs.

The restaurant is permanently closed and has been shut down for several months. It is now up for sale, and I hope that someone buys it and reopens it.

Today, September 12, 2021, I stopped by after seeing on Google Maps that this restaurant was open. Unfortunately, I discovered that it is permanently closed. There's a sign on the door expressing gratitude to everyone who supported them over the past 12 years.

This is a wonderful little spot to visit when you're leaving the Outer Banks. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff is also incredibly polite.

We are so glad we stopped here on the way out of OBX! Friendly service with quick refills and hot delicious food. I would recommend bringing a sweatshirt because they keep it cold inside! I got 4 sides-mashed potatoes, cheese fries, hush puppies, and green beans. The cheese fries were drool worthy AMAZING. Real cheese-sharp-yummm. All the sides were really good though, to be honest. The hush puppies were my least favorite just because they were kind of plain. My dad really liked them though. They are a bit sweet. Vegetarians (and no pork people) beware-there were some ham pieces in the green beans. My mom got a side salad and it was fresh with mixed lettuce, green pepper, and tomato. Dad got a fried trout sandwich (but they were out of rolls) so he had no bread and enjoyed it. There was a lot of bones he said so be aware of that. We would stop here again!
