Westwold General Store and Cafe

My husband and I live in the area and have visited the store/cafe many times, They have very fresh food and would recommend anytime.

Best fries for many miles around. It is a general store that has some mom and pop style foods and pies. Burgers, chicken fingers, fries, soup, etc. They close at 5:00 p.m. however. They are very friendly and you will like to eat there to help them out. The fries were the steak cut style.

This place closes at 5:00 p.m. so it caters to the coffee shop crowd. They have a limited menu with chicken fingers, fries, burgers and soup of the day. Friendly staff. They said they have the best fries around and I believe them because there is not much else around. The fries were more like hearty steak fries. I noticed there is not much on Tripadvisor around this location so a listing letting people know there is a place to eat should help.

Freshest donuts since Krispy Kreme in the USA. Order and wait for your treat. I like that. Pretty neat store, too.

First of all, I have to mention that the Westwold store serves high-calorie treats, so if that's a concern for you, I apologize in advance. However, this place is a must-visit if you're in the area. We especially love their deep-fried donuts, which are almost irresistible. It's also a great spot for lunch and doubles as a general store. It's kid-friendly and wheelchair accessible as well.
