No relaxation room (at least I did not see), limited parking and busy. One of these places where it look bad looks wise, so you know that the redemption factor is the food must be good. Surprisingly clean in contrast to preconceived ideas. Server was great. I never got her name, but I took care of it right away. I was out of my eyes, but they managed to remember the back row piles and make sure that our drinks were always full and correspondingly sure that we had everything we needed. The place is known for his breakfast Burrito, so I had the Burrito with bacon and half green Chile and half Gravy. The first bite was overwhelming, I didn't expect him to have so much crispy bacon. That's a great thing. The green Chile was also perfect. The engraving, if good, wouldn't be my first choice. Next time I'm just getting green Chile for the Burrito. The portion size was generous. They also offer smaller sizes, but why would you do that? Food is great, its not too fat or too bland. I don't know if its high quality, gmo free, gluten-free etc. But I don't care if it's delicious. And tasty is what it is. You get a sticker and candy for food all your food. Bottom line: Great service and food. Limited seats and parking spaces. You'll probably be waiting outside in your car.
Chef Diner is my place to eat when I'm in Colorado Springs. The food is high quality and perfectly prepared. I love you can also order half portions of items. The coffee is super delicious. It's just a bar restaurant, but they have an ATM in sight.
Good breakfast and fast service for a busy place! I usually get the cookies and Gravy where I go, and they did a pretty good job! Kings are good!
Breakfast Burrito The Grump are the bomb!! It is the only breakfast place in the jumps where the temperature of the food is as hot on the last bite as it was on the first. I love it!
Try the Burrito. The only reason I go to King Chef is their Breakfast Burrito. You can order it covered in Gravy or there house made Green Chili Sauce, I get mine Half and Half. I have never had a bad experience and have received top notch service every time. If you sit at the bar and watch the kitchen you can watch how hard they work to bring you an amazing meal. There is literally a guy with a potato and a cheese grader knocking out hash browns like it came out of a 10 pound pre made bag. I am new to the springs and have already found one of my go to breakfast places... You won’t be disappointed. Oh and be sure to bring cash!
