We are truly fortunate here in CLG. Recently, a fantastic Portuguese tart shop opened at Mitcham Shops, and we also welcomed Blackbird, which opened in January. I took my in-laws there for dinner tonight, along with my 2-year-old and my 3.5-year-old nephew. While it’s worth noting that they don’t have high chairs, the food was absolutely exceptional. My chicken was incredible, and everyone else enjoyed the beef brisket, which had them licking their fingers by the end of the meal. The black rice risotto was so delicious—it was my favorite dish of the night. The kids had risotto, chips, and brown rice, and everything tasted fantastic. They also offer a great selection of local wines. I highly encourage everyone to support this local restaurant; it’s truly outstanding!
