Calorie Counter - Colombo

Last night I went to Calorie Counter for dinner with my family after a long time. It is still the same old Calorie Counter. The food we ordered were superb. Salads were fresh and tasty. Kids really enjoyed the Thai Chicken. The juices which we ordered were excellent also the service. Very friendly staff. Keep it up Calorie Counter. Hoping to come again with some visitors from abroad in December.

I visited the restaurant in the afternoon for a late lunch. The chef personally welcomed me and was very friendly and polite. We quickly became friends. He informed me that they had recently reopened after the Covid disaster and were still working hard to improve. I observed the staff undergoing training to meet international standards. It is the only restaurant in the area that has air conditioning, making it a great choice for those looking to enjoy a cool environment during the midday heat or seeking refuge from mosquitoes and flies in the afternoon and evening. The menu offers a wide variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food was delicious and made with fresh ingredients. I highly recommend trying the barbecue. You will love it.

I noticed this restaurant next to the hotel I was staying at and decided to give it a try. The young boy who took my order was polite, but unfortunately most items on the menu were unavailable. The restaurant also did not seem very clean. There was some sort of activity happening outside, which prevented me from sitting at the outdoor tables as they were all occupied. Additionally, some women were shouting at what I assumed to be restaurant staff from their attire, completely ignoring the presence of a customer inside. They even gave me a rude glare when I glanced at the situation. This behavior was very unprofessional and I would not recommend this restaurant to any of my friends, despite the food being decent. The price charged was not worth the experience.

The food at this restaurant is incredibly fresh and delicious! Everything was cooked to perfection, and the atmosphere is peaceful and lovely. This is the perfect spot for a fantastic breakfast. The staff welcomed us warmly, and we absolutely loved our experience. Thank you!

I cannot be more happier that we found this place! The owner, his wife and his staff is really friendly and welcoming, you feel like you visited someone's home. They all took great care of us. The food was excellent, the portions were big. One of the staff offered to wrap my food to go, which was really nice.
